Hybrid students participate in all core academic subjects (Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies) led by the same teacher and using the same curriculum as in-person students. Lessons are interactive and paced to match the in-person experience.
Hybrid students eat lunch and enjoy recess with their grade-level classmates, building friendships and participating fully in school life.

Offers students the opportunity to explore new interests, deepen intellectual curiosity, and strengthen social-emotional skills. These experiences not only enhance student development but also make the hybrid model more robust, flexible, and ultimately fun!
While our hybrid model offers flexibility, being on campus during in-person days plays a key role in student growth. Learning in a school setting provides:
Our mixed-age classroom environment is a unique feature of the program. It encourages students to learn from one another, develop leadership and collaboration skills, and build a sense of community across grade levels.
For many students, this balance of independence and peer interaction creates a richer, more meaningful educational experience.
Hybrid students will participate in field trips alongside their grade-level peers, ensuring a cohesive and inclusive experience. All field trip costs and procedures will mirror those of traditional students.
On in- person days, hybrids students will follow the Oakridge uniform policy by wearing an Oakridge-brandedred shirt and navy-colored pants or shorts.
Hybrid students will be fully included in all school-wide activities, including fundraisers, performances, spelling bees, science fairs, and other special events.
All testing will be done in person, and students will be allowed to partake in or opt out of State testing. However, should a student decide to participate in state testing, they must do It In person.
Students who do not follow the Oakridge guidelines for academics and behavior will be dismissed from the enrichment program Immediately and must reapply for enrichment at a later date.
All hybrid students are required to have up-to-date immunizations in accordance with school and state guidelines, unless a documented medical exemption is provided by a licensed physician.
